Free Web Tools
Small, fast, no-signup tools I build to scratch my own itch, and share for free. Each one started as something I was doing by hand on client projects.
Website QA Audit
Paste a URL and get a full QA pass: Lighthouse speed scores, SEO, accessibility, security headers, broken links and content slips, with a fix for each issue and a link you can share. No signup, login or paywall.
Website Screenshot Tool
Capture any website at any device size — desktop, tablet, or phone — and download it as an optimized WebP image. Full-page captures supported.

How these tools work
The Website Screenshot Tool runs in your browser. It asks a screenshot service to capture the page at the size you choose, then converts the result to WebP on your own device, so the image never passes through my server.
The Website QA Audit needs a small server-side helper, because browsers aren't allowed to read another website's code or headers. My server fetches the page, its links and its settings, your browser analyses them, and Google's PageSpeed Insights adds the Lighthouse scores. I wrote up how it works, and what went wrong along the way, in the build log.
Both tools are free, need no account, and only look at public pages. The privacy policy explains what each one records.
